The Basic Ag Marketing Webinar is meant to be an introductory course covering the mechanics of cash, futures, and options markets. This webinar is designed to meet the needs of agriculture producers who are new to commodity marketing and are looking for techniques to improve the prices they receive for their crops and livestock. The webinar format is interactive and will allow for live questions. Each webinar session will be recorded for review if you miss a session or for additional viewing to clarify concepts.

Eva Jewell, Division Head for the Area Agency on Aging (AAA), was recognized at Monday’s Board of County Commissioners’ meeting for 32 years of service to the Department of Human Services!

“You’ve been a true advocate for our aging population not just in Weld County but on a national level as well,” said Director of Human Services Judy Griego. “Your enduring legacy will be the great team you’ve built, which I feel is the strongest Area Agency on Aging team in the entire state. Thank you for a tremendous career!”

Weld County Chair Barbara Kirkmeyer also expressed her gratitude.

“I’ve had the honor of working with you since the ‘90s, and you’ve always put your heart and soul into your job,” Kirkmeyer said. “We’re so proud of your achievements. Enjoy retirement!”
