We are excited to welcome Butterfly Pavilion tonight at the library for Bug Safari! 🦋 Check out their inspiring initiatives at butterflies.org and learn how this nonprofit invertebrate zoo is achieving global impact in education, research and conservation. Bug Safari begins at 6pm and is free and open to all ages.🎨 Along with Bug Safari, we are hosting a painting program tonight for adults starting at 5:30pm. We have limited openings. Call to register: 303-857-7180

These longwing butterflies (Heliconius sp.) are enjoying a breakfast of flower nectar in our Wings of the Tropics exhibit at Butterfly Pavilion. You can see the long proboscis of the pink and black butterfly, probing the nectaries of the flower!

It may be cold outside, but it’s always warm in our tropical paradise right here in Colorado 🙂 Visit butterflies.org to get tickets today.
